何謂 What is Yimutology?
Yimutology is a new English academic term to denote the study of I Ching (The Book of
Change, or 易經). "Yi~" is from the Chinese word "易"; "~mu~" is from the word mutation
satisfying the meaning of 易 (change); and "~logy" means "study of" in Latin. We adopt the
name from the article by Mr. TL Huang.

我們用黃德魯先生提出的易經新學名"Yimutology" 來作名稱。"Yi" 是" 易" 的
漢語拼音； "-mu-" 取自英文的mutable, mutation 即易變的，變异，人生的
浮沉等意；而最后的 "-logy"則源自通用的拉丁文 "...學"或"... 論"。三者組合
起來即為 "研究易變化的學問 "。
